£11 million 112,000ft sq, 169 dwelling private residential development by David Bellis at Lowry Design.

We responded to the need to redevelop Tooting & Mitcham football ground to provide 169 homes in both apartments and town houses. A high-density scheme of some 300 habitable rooms per hectare has been designed to reduce the apparent density. By using a series of layered spaces; from public to private with landscaped courtyards within, providing a mixture of amenity spaces. Working closely with the developer and Beaver Housing we provided 30% affordable on-site homes.
