The chapel provided a 650m3 volume of blank canvas for the creation of a unique family residence, sufficient to create a three storey dwelling, the levels of which vary to relate
to existing window heights. The living space will be double storey to appreciate the full scale of the building;, which can also be overlooked from the vertical circulation route. The rear features a full height glazed screen system to bring the inside into the dwelling and offer uninterrupted views out into the country.
David Bellis appeared on BBC's Homes Under the Hammer television programme, presenting his design proposals to the client at early stages of this conversion.
